Hi, I'm Sanjeev Nayak

I'm a UX Engineer with many years of experience in product engineering, architecture, and design. I earned my Master's degree in Digital Media from Georgia Tech in '22. I've spent my career working in fast-paced startup environments helping companies define and realize product visions.

If you want to learn more, take a look at my LinkedIn.

Web Development

I've been professionally developing softare for the web since 2011. I've always had a focus towards User Experience, combining technical and design skillsets to build meaningful products.

I have experience across the full-stack, though front-end and UI/UX development is my main passion.

If you don't believe me, take a look at my resume below. For code samples and various web development work, you can take a look through my Github profile.

Game Development

My interest in designing and building interactive experiences extends beyond the web. I've also been a hobbyist game developer for many years, building projects with the Unity engine.

Master's Thesis Project

This project explores the idea of giving players in shared virtual worlds more control to express with their avatar body without sacrificing gameplay functionality. For a more in depth writeup, see here.

Game Prototype Explorations

I implemented a few small game prototypes to experiment with building different genres of gameplay functionality.

Adventure Game

Some screenshots from an older point-and-click adventure game project. I drew the character art along with all design and code work, and worked with other artists for environemnt art and animation.

Smartphone Motion Controls

A digital puppetry project from my Undergrad days at Georgia Tech using smartphones as motion tracking controllers to control 3D puppets on a virtual stage. I created all the 2D and 3D art, and most of the code. For more info see here.
